DR ELYAS MOHSENI
Chiropractor
Dr Elyas Mohseni is the principal chiropractor at Optimum Function Chiropractic and Sports Injury Centre, based in Hoppers Crossing and Truganina. They specialise spinal pain, sports injuries, and family health and wellbeing.
Growing up within a health-conscious and sport-orientated family of sports specialists and bodybuilders sparked Elyas' passion for sports and family health, and it's that passion has driven Elyas to attain further qualifications to help his patients achieve optimum health.
Elyas has a Bachelor in Biomedical Sciences, a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Chiropractic, and a Masters in Clinical Chiropractic with distinction from RMIT University.
TYRON SAUNDERS
Physiotherapist
Tyron Saunders is our Physiotherapy Allied Health Advisor and works locally at Symmetry Physiotherapy in Tarneit and Altona Meadows.
Tyron's strong interest in sporting injuries has led to him to become the team physio for Williamstown Football Club in the VFL, and also the consulting physio for Baseball Victoria Development Academy.
His interest in treating shoulder, knee injuries and injury prevention led him to develop Musculoskeletal Screening Assessments specifically for injury risk reduction. Coupled with Pilates training, Tyron works with the Board to tailor specific programs to clients' individual goals and needs, which is beneficial for strengthening, conditioning and injury rehabilitation.
Outside of work, Tyron has completed his first Melbourne Ironman and is regularly training in the gym for his own health and fitness.
DR MANDY CASSIMATIS
Psychologist
Dr Mandy Cassimatis is a registered psychologist and researcher in the areas of chronic disease prevention and management, physical and mental health, and digital health programs.
Mandy has been involved in the fitness industry providing motivational support to women to improve their eating. In clinical practice, she has a passion for seeing children and adults with eating issues, difficulties with maintaining a healthy lifestyle, mood disorders, and more.
Mandy enjoys working with clients one-on-one as well as in a group therapy context. In her spare time, she enjoys running, yoga, cooking, creative writing and crochet.
DR NATHAN PRING
Podiatrist
Dr Nathan brings local experience as he lives and works in Point Cook. Nathan has expertise in managing sports-related foot and ankle injuries.
He has undertaken additional courses in the past and worked as an accredited personal trainer for several years. He is very experienced in the prescription of custom foot orthoses.
With a 20 year history of playing cricket at a high level as well as many other sports such as tennis, basketball, soccer and volleyball. He brings excellent skills in sports injury rehabilitation.
ANNA LO BIANCO
Remedial Massage Therapist
Anna studied her Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy with the Australian College of Massage and is a member of Massage and Myotherapy Australia. Anna's skills have broadened to include effective techniques such as manual lymphatic drainage, myofascial cupping and RockTape/kinesiology tape application, all of which complement and enhance the results of her treatments.
Her personal fitness and health have been a staple factor in her daily routine since she was a teenager. Anna has played her fair share of netball and ran quite a few half marathons, and considers weight training a necessity. Her passion for health and fitness led her to become a Personal Trainer/Fitness Instructor early in her career, and now she is a Remedial Massage Therapist.
Anna's love for running and the physical jobs she has had over the years have left her with quite a few chronic soft tissue conditions. She has sought help and guidance from health practitioners in all types of disciplines, with success, giving her first-hand experience as the client.
KIRTE DUBE
Mindset Transformation Catalyst
With a Masters of Business Administration, Cert IV in Training and Education and Trainer the Trainer certification, Kirti has a very good understanding of what is required to be able to achieve success in various areas.
Kirti is proud to mention that she has been mentored by her mum Mrs Janki Sharma, who is a Psychotherapist and Child and Family Counsellor, and the author of “Counselling and Parenting Skills”.
With a wealth of experience of over 21 years in training, administrative and leadership roles in numerous industries, Kirti chooses to follow her passion of transforming lives and enjoys working as a "Mindset Transformation Catalyst".
In her workshops, Kirti uses proven tools and techniques that have not only helped thousands but also have helped her in coping with life’s challenges and have enriched her life experiences. She brings some of the fundamental aspects of life into her workshops to empower the participants with what’s really required to achieve what they want in life.
DR FABIENNE CHEVALIER
Clinical Hypnotherapist
Dr Fabienne Chevalier is a qualified and registered Clinical Hypnotherapist with a research background in language, the mind and behaviour. She runs HypnoLife, a clinic based in Altona, Victoria. Having personally experienced and overcome chronic pain and IBS, she has a passion for helping people whose quality of life is affected by pain and suffering, whether physical or mental, so they can regain peace of mind and get their lives back. Through a focus on the mind-body connection, and changing patterns of habits, mindset, thinking and behaviour, she has specialised in helping people who feel that they are stuck with their chronic issues and cannot see light at the end of the tunnel. In particular, she helps:
- Overweight and obese people to free themselves from the control that food has over them by changing their eating habits, thinking and mindset for the long term so that they can lose weight for good and regain their confidence
- People who have been struggling with chronic pain/issues (e.g., back pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, tinnitus (ringing in the ear) etc) by relieving the intensity and unpleasantness of the pain and improving sleep and thinking patterns so that they can move better, sleep better, function better and feel better
- Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) sufferers to break free from the debilitating symptoms of persistent diarrhoea, constipation, bloating, stomach pain and more so that they can feel well again, stop worrying about being sick and regain peace of mind
